Spring Lake Park contains 37.2 acres and is the
city's largest park. The north ΒΌ of the park has been cleaned, trails opened, and a parking lot. Fall 2007 a
bridge across the small creek will be built, and permanent steps have been built in the falls area. Though it is visited regularly, the park holds considerable potential
as a restored natural area with multi-use trails and public restrooms.
About 1 mile west of downtown Streator on route 18 go north after the cemetery at the cell tower go about 1 mile north to the park.
